Open the canned crescent rolls. Roll them out, separately, pressing the perforations together.
Spread 1/4 cup of tomato sauce on each rolled out crescent dough (more if you like more saucy pinwheels).
Tip with mozzarella cheese and mini (or chopped) pepperoni.
Carefully roll the crescent dough in a log, rolling from a long end.
Slice each roll in to 6-8 pinwheels
Place the sliced pinwheels on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
Top with a sprinkle of italian seasoning and grated parmesan.
Bake for 15-17 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from the oven and serve with the remaining tomato sauce.

Feel free to swap out the filling ingredients for any number of things. This recipe is super low-maintenance with no precooking required, but you could absolutely use cooked chicken or cooked ground beef as a filling for these crescent pinwheels.Allow to cool completely before storing leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge with a piece of paper towel in the container to absorb any excess moisture. This will keep your pinwheels flakier when reheating.To reheat, microwave for 60-90 seconds or until heated through.
